Why sex-specific charts matter

Baby girls follow a slightly different average growth trajectory than boys — typically a little lighter and shorter at the same age, from birth through early childhood. WHO and CDC both publish separate percentile curves for each sex, and this calculator always applies the female-specific reference to your daughter's measurements.

What a healthy result looks like

Percentiles between the 3rd and 97th are all within the typical healthy range for baby girls. A daughter who consistently tracks around the 20th percentile is generally just as healthy as one at the 80th — what matters most is a stable curve over repeated visits, not the specific number itself.
